From 6 to 12 September 2015, the meeting and training school of the COST Action Ancient European Languages And Writings (AELAW) took place in Jaca (Spain). Alteritas participates as vice-president of the project.
AELAW was developed with the intention of coordinating a large group of international researchers dedicated to the study of different ancient European languages and writings, with the aim of creating a large working group capable of laying the foundations for the creation, for the first time, of a large online database allowing the cataloguing of all currently known documents in these languages, thus bringing this important part of Europe’s cultural heritage into the 21st century.
